Yes, the Expo 2020 lake is real! And here’s everything we know about it. With about exactly one year to go before the world’s greatest show, Dubai will showcase more things related to Expo. The Dubai Expo will be a major event in the UAE and the greater region as it is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, and the first to be hosted by an Arab nation.

The Expo 2020 lake has remained a mystery until some photos from Dubai-based photographers have leaked beautiful images of this man-made lake. It has been confirmed that this lake was not created by the Expo organizers but rather a project developed by the Dubai Municipality in preparation for the upcoming mega event.

Where is the Expo 2020 lake located?

This beautiful man-made creation is called “The Lake of Expo” and is found just on the outskirts of Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport. It takes quite a drive to get here as it is far from the Expo 2020 site. The stunning creation is near the Babs Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa and Last Exit in Al Qudra by Master Developer – Meraas.

The best way to reach this location is by heading along the D63 Route, traveling past the Last Exit, and by turning right on the road that leads to Al Qudra Lakes.

Several developments are underway near Al Qudra such as the Cherrywoods Townhouses in Dubai, Al Qudra road with its handover estimated to be in the second quarter of 2021.

You can check out the exclusive collection of properties in Cherrywoods, Dubai at MyVilla.com.
