The Dubai RTA has announced new public transport timings after easing of restrictions in the city. As businesses have reopened, new curfew timings were also adjusted starting from 11 PM to 6 AM. The new timings extend the usual operating hours of public transport services including the Dubai Metro, Tram, Buses, and Water Taxis. Here is everything you need to know about the metro and other public transport timings.

Dubai Metro

The Dubai Metro Red and Green lines will operate from 7 AM until 12 MN from Saturday to Thursday, while trains will be operating from 10 AM until midnight on Fridays. Ensure you are aware of the latest timing, so you don’t miss the last trip home.

The Red line’s last journey from Rashidiya station will be at 10:54 PM, while the last journey from UAE Exchange station is at 10:53 PM. For the Green line, the last journey from Creek station will be at 11:21 PM, while the last journey from Etisalat metro station is at 11:20 PM.

Dubai Tram

The Dubai Tram will operate similarly as the Metro starting from 7 AM to 12 MN from Saturday to Thursday and from 10 AM to 12 MN on Fridays.

Bus Services

City Buses in Dubai will start operating on 142 routes starting from 6 AM to 11 PM with 902 buses making trips. Seventy-four buses will be operating on the following routes 8, 10, 12, A13, 17, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43, and X23 which serve a number of public and private hospitals on their trips. The City Bus Service timings are ensured to make way for the National Sterilisation Programme.

Water Taxis

Seven lines will be operating from 7 AM to 10 PM for marine transport. However, Tourist lines such as the Dubai Water Canal lines and Al Ghubaiba-Sharjah Aquarium station lines will remain closed.

Taxis

Taxi services will be operational from 6 AM to 11 PM, however, they will also be available during the Sterilisation Programme hours based as on-demand service only.

Social distancing and limited seating capacity still apply, and face masks are required to be worn at all times. With offices, parks, and shopping malls gradually opening for business, it is our responsibility to keep each other safe.
