Dubai is the ultimate host of the most glamorous events in the world. International celebrities from all walks of life arrive at Dubai to enjoy the luxurious lifestyle it offers while connecting with their ardent fans from world over.

This weekend, as March 2019 comes to a close, the excitement bursts with high class performances by leading artists from India, USA and Italy doing their best for Dubai residents to have an enjoyable time.

Here are the highlights on some of the most important events coming up this weekend.

1. Dubai hosts Sunil Grover Unplugged

Sunil Grover, the Indian comedian and Bollywood actor is coming to Dubai to present his show, Sunil Grover Unplugged.

Fans can find all about what ticks him and how he imbibes his observations of life in his characters.

Already known for his many avatars as a comedian, he promises to present an interesting new act that will have the Dubai audience in splits on March 29 at Shaikh Rashid Auditorium in Indian High School at Oud Metha Road.  Sunil Grover Unplugged is a Colors Live Event.

2. Trey Songz performing in Dubai this weekend

International star, singer and rapper Trey Songz is coming to Dubai to perform at WHITE Dubai’s hugely anticipated Dubai World Cup after party.

Kicking off at WHITE Dubai, Meydan Racecourse Grandstand from 10pm - 4am on Saturday March 30, entry is completely free for all to enter. Get there early for a good spot.

As a bonus surprise Trey Songz will performing also on Thursday March 28 at Drai’s Dubai, Meydan Racecourse Grandstand with doors opening from 10pm until 3am. Early bird tickets for ladies are priced at Dhs100, which gets them a free drink, while guys can get in for Dhs300, getting two free drinks.

Both nightclubs usually put on their star guests late on into the evening, with most acts coming on around 1am to 2am.

3. Gwen Stefani to entertain Dubai World Cup fans

At the world’s most expensive day of horseracing, the Dubai World Cup, be prepared for some top-notch entertainment. U.S. pop singer Gwen Stefani will be performing on the day of the event, 30 March of 2019.

The multi-award-winning artist is set to close the sporting and social event at 9:30pm on the Apron Views stage at Meydan Racecourse. Access to the concert is reserved for Dubai World Cup ticket holders, with ticket prices starting at AED350.

4. Michelin-starred Matteo Rizzo hosting Italian dinners in Dubai

Italian restaurant Leonardo is named after the country’s greatest artist and scientist, Leonardo Da Vinci. True to its name, the eatery looks to offer innovation at every turn. Stella Di Mare, the latest hotel in Dubai Marina is where Leonardo nests.

This week Leonardo is hosting notable Italian chef, Matteo Rizzo, for a series of dinner services until March 30 where he will cook alongside the venue's in-house Michele Sciotti, showcasing a custom menu featuring the finest Mediterranean culinary creations. 

Chef Matteo is renowned for the family-owned Il Desco ristorante in Verona that boasts of Michelin star.
