One of the more famous promenades in the UAE’s capital – is the Corniche Road. The Corniche Road in Abu Dhabi quickly became a favourite place because of its seaside promenade with cafés and beach access. This public road is popular when it comes to fitness, entertainment and community events and activities in and out of the Emirate.
As the main road network, the Abu Dhabi Corniche road connects the rest of the city while boasting plush hotels, parks, and walkways. This 9KM stretch of coastal boulevard is lined with iconic buildings, landmarks and high-rise towers that completely shape and define the Abu Dhabi skyline.
Abu Dhabi Corniche Road is a witness to the country’s public events such as the UAE National Day, where the Corniche skyline turns into an airshow for the demonstration team of the UAE air force.
Location
Located at the far western end of Al Ras Al Akhdar peninsula, the Abu Dhabi Corniche road is highly accessible from all points of the city. The Zayed Sports City Stadium, which is the largest stadium in the UAE is an 18-minute drive away. Yas Island, the haven for tourism and investment which is accessible through the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway is roughly a 28-minute drive away. It also has good proximity to the Abu Dhabi International Airport which is about 30 minutes away.
Sitting in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the Corniche Road runs parallel along the northwestern coast of the city making it the first choice for accessibility, entertainment, and residential living.
Neighbourhood
The Abu Dhabi Corniche road is close to major areas such as Al Khalidiya and downtown district. Plenty of luxurious properties and lie in this area. Other prominent apartments in Corniche Road are Landmark Tower, Bay Tower, Corniche Tower and Bayuna Tower. Total floor area for apartments here ranges from 550 sq.ft. to 1,000 sq.ft. While the rental price for a studio flat starts from 45k AED to 100k AED per year. Two-bedroom flats are on average at 115k AED per year, while three-bedroom apartments can range from 80k AED to 380k AED, per year. Higher priced apartments are often fully furnished penthouses and prices may vary from 100k AED to 330k AED.

Transportation
Abu Dhabi Corniche Road is quite the melting pot and is accessible through public transportation. Transportation options in this area include bus stations located along the Khalifa Bin Zayed that commuters can access. As this area is frequently visited, residents may face traffic and parking challenges.
